Fisherman’s Wharf Owner Files for Bankruptcy

The owner of Fisherman's Wharf in Venice, Florida has filed for bankruptcy protection. The owner has been fighting the city and Sarasota County officials for years over a dock that is too long. Right now, it is unclear is the waterfront shops and restaurant will be affected by the filing, however at this time, the businesses are operating as normal. The owner filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in order to restructure his debt.
